Relationship counselling

When you really hear each other again, space for connection opens up

Every relationship has times when things are harder. Sometimes conversations seem to end up in the same place again and again. You want to understand each other, and yet distance, misunderstanding or frustration creeps in. Often it is not about a lack of love, but about losing contact with one another.

Relationship counselling offers space to look together at what is going on. Not to decide who is right, but to discover again what lies beneath the words. When there is space again to listen and really understand each other, the connection can grow again too.

Perhaps you recognise this...

  • You keep ending up in the same discussions.
  • You find it hard to really understand each other.
  • You notice that distance has crept in.
  • You want to learn to communicate better.
  • You are working through a difficult event together.
  • You want to strengthen your relationship, even without major problems.

Good to know

Do we have to be almost separated before seeking help?

No. Coming early often means there is more room to find your way back to each other.

Will one of us be proved right?

No. My role is not to take sides, but to help you both understand each other better and to get into conversation with one another again.

My view

A relationship changes when both partners feel heard and seen. By listening attentively to yourself and to each other, space opens up for more understanding, trust and connection.

A first step

A first appointment is a moment to explore together what you are struggling with and what you hope to achieve. From there we look at which form of support is appropriate.
